With Canada Day right around the corner, it means celebrations for many. The holiday is on a Monday this year which means many things are still open, but there are still some things closed that are worth mentioning.

Food and Malls

  • Grocery stores: Closed
  • Chain Restaurants: Open
  • Convenience stores: Open
  • Masonville Place: Closed
  • Westmount Mall: Closed
  • White Oaks Mall: Closed
  • Covent Garden MarketClosed

Beer and Liquor

  • The Beer Store: Closed
  • LCBO: Closed
  • Labatt Beer Store (Horton St): Open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Banks

All banks will be closed for the holiday Monday.

Pharmacies

  • Shoppers Drug Mart: Most locations closed.(Byron, Sherwood Forest Mall, Hamilton Road locations: Open 10 a.m. to  6 p.m.)
  • Rexall Pharmacies: Open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

London Transit

The LTC will run on a holiday schedule for Monday. All regular routes will start at 9 a.m with last pickup being 10:30 p.m. There will be certain detours on downtown routes due to the fireworks taking place. Check out londontransit.ca for a list of those detours starting at 8 p.m tomorrow night.

Government Offices

All City of London offices will be closed on Monday but will resume normal operation on Tuesday, July 2.
