This is incredibly troubling. A distracted driver in British Columbia was pulled over after almost crashing into a RCMP officer…. and it turns out she had 12 prior convictions for using an electronic device while behind the wheel.

CBC News spoke with Cpl. Dennis Hwang who said “I have never encountered anyone with that many convictions for distracted driving, ever.” He even took an informal poll around the station and couldn’t find anyone who had heard of anyone with a record that long.

JACKfm and Subaru of London are committed to putting an end to distracted driving with our #DropItAndDrive campaign.

These stats out of BC are troubling.
