July 24 -26 Day Out With Thomas- The Celebration Tour

** Located at the St.Thomas-Elgin Memorial Centre
** Little engineers and their families are invited to take a 25-minute ride with their favourite engine; meet Sir Topham Hatt, and MUCH MORE!
** Tickets must be purchased in advance!

July 21 – 26 Spirits of the Earth Festival 

** Peacekeeper Park, 3684 Avon Drive, 3684 Avon Drive
** Southwestern Ontario’s Largest & Longest running Earth-Based Organic Festival!
** Tickets can be bought online or at the door (day or weekend pass)

July 25 – 26 First World War: Remembering

** Fanshawe Pioneer Village, 1424 Clarke Road
** Over a dozen activity stations, including a Military Funeral Procession, Assault on a German Bunker, & a WWI fashion show
** $7 admission

FRIDAY:

6 pm Gates open, 7:00 Classic Car Cruise, 7:30 Racing begins Delaware Speedway

** located at 1640 Gideon Drive
**Vintage Night and Classic Car Cruise – vintage mods, Super Stock, Open-Ontario 4s, & trucks
** $16 for G/A

7:35 London Majors

** Located at Labatt Memorial Park
** Majors vs. Burlington Bandits @ 7:35 PM

SATURDAY:

5 pm – 7 pm Family Dance Party

** Located at The Muze,1-242 Dundas Street
** Songs that both parents and kids of all ages will enjoy!
** $10 for admission

8 am – 5th Annual Rugrat Backpack Beach Volleyball Tournament 

** Event located on the Port Stanley Beach
** Cheer on the teams of the volley ball tournament
** Tournament is raisign money for the United way GenNext

10:00 am – 5:00 pm Storybook Gardens: Star Wars Day

** Storybook Gardens,  1958 Storybook Lane
** Meet Star Wars characters, special programming; Ewok scavenger hunt, a performing unicycle riding Scout Trooper and a Vader Dance Party!
** $7.50 admission; children under 2 are free – Children dressed in costume will receive $1.25 off admission

9 pm – 2 am Pride Spotlight Party: Vegas Edition 

** Hilton London, 300 King Street
** Lady Finesse spinning the tracks & CoCo Montrese performing live as both Beyonce & Janet Jackson
** $10 in advance, $15 at the door

SUNDAY:

12:30 pm Pride Parade

**Parade leaves the Western Fair District, goes down Queens Ave. and disperses at Victoria Park
** Look for the Talking Tiguan in the Parade!
** Enjoy a FREE & FUN event!

1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm Sunday Afternoon Tours

** Eldon House, 481 Ridout Street North
** 50-minute guided tour of Eldon House with a costumed historical interpreter who will provide the history of the house & the Harris family who lived there.
** Cost: donation

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm Springbank Gardens Summer Concert Series

** Guy Lombardo Pavilion, 285 Wonderland Road South
** The Forked River Quintet is made up of the Principal Woodwind players from the Musicians of Orchestra London
** FREE to attend!

1 pm – 3pm Creative Sundays

**Drop in event located at Museum London
** Tours, crafts, and snacks!
** 1 pm – 3 pm the drawing instructor will be available to provide insight and technique
