Boler Mountain is embarking on an exciting new phase of development. Today they broke ground on a $6.1 million chalet that will be built at the base of Boler Mountain – opening November 2017.

The 16,000 square foot, three-level facility will bring a new level of guest services for enthusiasts of outdoor activities. It will be a community-use facility, perfect for private and corporate events. The state of the art kitchen and dining facilities will also enable Boler to host weddings and corporate events in conjunction with our current slate of outdoor adventure activities. The current chalet is 44 years old and will remain on the property as an equipment rental shop.

In the fall of 2015, Boler Mountain engaged a London architect firm, Tillman Ruth Robinson, and the California based chalet specialists BSA to work collaboratively on designing a new chalet. The project has been financed by Libro. It will be built by Agri-Urban Buildings Inc., (AUBI) of Chatham, Ontario. AUBI previously built a snow-making centre at Boler. The company won a competitive bid for the chalet build.

The Chalet is expected to be operational in time for the 2017-18 snow season. Building will take place over the 2016-17 season.
