Late Fleetwood Mac legend Christine McVie is being celebrated on what would’ve been her 80th birthday (July 12th).

The first release, “Little Darlin’,” was a song she recorded in 2004 during her solo LP In the Meantime recording sessions.

The other is by Mick Fleetwood, who paid tribute to his bandmate with a touching new instrumental version of “Songbird.”

At the end of his version, the drummer altered the lyrics to say: “As the songbird sings/Now from the heavens, to you Christine/I wish you all the love in the world/But, most of all, I wish it from myself.”

On November 3, two of her solo albums will be released by Rhino Records. They are Christine McVie and In The Meantime.
