It’s finally here! This weekend is the 2016 World Tubing Championships!

Plan to attend the free winter carnival with free onsite parking.. free fireworks, as well as free shuttles to and from Elgin Mall in St Thomas!

WHERE IS THIS HAPPENING?
The event is being held at the McCaig Family International Tubing Park (MFITP), which is right around the corner from Sunset Drive and Bush Line in St. Thomas, Ontario.

WHAT TIME?
The Park opens at 4 p.m. on Friday, February 12th, with shuttles starting at 3:30 p.m from Elgin Mall.
The Opening Ceremonies, produced by the Elgin Theatre Guild, go down at 7 p.m. and are capped off by the fireworks we mentioned above!
On Saturday, February 13th, shuttles start at 8 a.m., the same time the Park opens.
The competition starts at 9 a.m., the finals take place at 6 p.m. and the medal ceremony occurs at 7 p.m.

Cheer on as many as 100 teams raising $1,000 each in support of the Special Care Nursery at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital as they compete for winter sporting glory!

This festival of all things local features  Food , drink, and entertainment.  Indeed, The Worlds is an over-the-top event for families of every age!

We ask all guests to car pool, if possible, and note that 4×4 or AWD vehicles will have an easier time parking onsite.
