Would we love Disney? (of course we would)
Would our daughter be too young for Disney? (of course not)
This was our chance to dip our toe in the Disney water…. and now we need to come back for 5 days!!!!

1 day at WDW will cost you approx $100 for just admission (FREE on your birthday!) and it climbs from there if you want park hopper etc. Learn more at startyourdisneyexperience.com.

In our 13 hours we managed to
– Rides: Under The Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid, It’s A Small World, Swiss Family Robertson Treehouse, Star Tours, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
– Meet Ariel, Tinkerbell, Sophie The First, Jake, Doc McStuffins, The Incredibles
– See Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Daisy, Pluto, Anna, Elsa, Christoph, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Gaston
– Have a 2 hour nap in the stroller (ok only 1 of us got to do that!)
– Park hop over to Disney Hollywood Studios
– Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at Hollywood and Vine
– Watch the Disney Electric Parade + fireworks

We lucked out and the temperature was a chilly 14 degrees AND this was one of the park’s SLOWEST weeks of the year!!! WIN!!

A few tips, tricks and stuff I wish I would have known…

– Research in advance! Google pretty much anything Walt Disney World/Magic Kingdom related and there are some pretty great blogs (a little too in depth.) Yes.. I googled ‘advice for picking fast pass’ and ‘is ariel’s ride worth the fast pass.’

– If you can, reserve yourself in to a character lunch. It’s not cheap ($100+ for the 3 of us) but it’s a great break in the middle of the day where you can fill up on real food!! But know your 4 year old wont be eating their lunch they are too excited to see Jake, Sophie, Doc McStuffins and Hanny Manny to chow down on their mac and cheese
