Sir Elton John is releasing a book documenting his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour.

The 76-year-old music legend performed 330 shows on his final jaunt across the globe, which commenced in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 2018, and wrapped up in Stockholm, Sweden in 2023.

And fans will be able to get insight into the mammoth journey via ‘Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road: Memories of My Life On Tour’, which arrives on September 24.

It will include posters, sketches, never-before-seen photographs and postcards, and more.

The foreword of the book is written by Elton’s husband, David Furnish, with whom he shares two sons, 13-year-old Zachary and 11-year-old Elijah.

Elton shared on Instagram, “Creating this book has been a beautiful journey, reminiscing about the people and places that shaped an incredible chapter in my life. It includes stories and memories not just from this tour but throughout my entire career.”

This book follows the 2022 documentary, ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The Final Elton John Performances and the Years That Made His Legend,’ initially released theatrically and later available on Disney+.

Elton decided to retire from touring to dedicate more time to his sons and spouse. At his last performance at Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena on July 8, he expressed gratitude, saying, “I’ve had the most wonderful career, beyond belief. Fifty years of pure joy playing music. How lucky am I? But I wouldn’t be sitting here and talking to you if it wasn’t for you.”

Reflecting on the support of his fans, he acknowledged their contributions in buying singles, CDs, albums, cassettes, and, most importantly, tickets to his shows. He emphasized the joy of playing live, stating, “It’s been my lifeblood to play for you guys. You’ve been absolutely magnificent.”

Elton’s farewell tour stands as the second highest-grossing tour of all time, with earnings surpassing $939.1 million, trailing only Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour.’
