Madonna’s highly anticipated ‘Celebration’ tour began with a bang at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday, marking the start of an impressive 78-show run across 15 countries.  While the Queen Of Pop delivered an impressive performance on stage, a few minor issues occurred during the show.

After the fourth song, “Burning Up,” Madonna’s sound messed up, and the legendary singer was left apologizing to fans. She told the crowd the crew would need to ‘press the reset button.’

Madonna told stories of her humble beginnings while the crew quickly fixed the sound issue. She also shared details about her recent health scare before launching into her classic hits, Open Your Heart and Holiday.

Regarding Madonna’s medical issues earlier this year, musical director Stuart Price says Madonna used the break that she took for her health to also make the show even better. “Madonna has very high expectations of how much hard work people will put into something,” he told BBC News. “It’s very uncompromising – but she’s equally as hard on herself. So when she took a break, that pause created an opportunity to further enhance the show.”
