Ringo Starr has announced a new EP titled Rewind Forward, to be release on October 13. The former Beatle will preview the four-song set with the title track on Friday.

About that, he said, “Rewind Forward, was something I said out of the blue. It’s just one of those lines like ‘A Hard Day’s Night’. It just came to me. But it doesn’t really make sense.”

Ringo went on to explain that… sometimes when you want to go forward “you have to go back first.”
