Oscar-nominated Michael Keaton has given us lots of hope for the upcoming ‘Beetlejuice 2’ movie. Him and director Tim Burton have agreed that the movie “has to be done as close to the way we made it the first time,” adding that practical effects are important as well as “improvising and riffing, but literally handmade stuff like people creating things with their hands and building something.”

Keaton added that making the sequel is “the most fun I’ve had working on a movie in I can’t tell you how long.”

Warner Bros. Pictures confirmed the release date of “Beetlejuice 2” for September 6, 2024. The IMDb page for the film says original cast members like Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara are returning. We will also see new talent joining the franchise, with Willem Dafoe and Jenna Ortega joining the cast, among others.
