Watch out Mariah Carey, there’s a new player looking to take over the Christmas music scene … former Journey front man Steve Perry has announced his first-ever holiday song titled “Maybe This Year”.

The song will be newly added to the holiday album he released last year titled The Season which featured eight Christmas classics.

We wonder if “Maybe This Year” is an ode to his hope that 2023 will see the end of his ongoing legal battles with his former band mates over use of the name and his image on merch without his permission.
