It’s a Boy!! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Welcome their 3rd child and second son.

Middleton returned to the same private delivery suite at the Lindo wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London early Monday morning where she gave birth to her other two children. She married Prince William in April 2011, gave birth to Prince George in July 2013 and Princess Charlotte in May 2015.

Bookies have said that some of the most likely names for a baby boy cited include Arthur, Albert and James.

Kate’s birth experience wasn’t like a typical British woman’s though!

  • People Camp outside the hospital trying to get photos.
  • She has a 23 person delivery team….23!!!   Two obstetricians, three midwives, three anesthetists, four operating theatre staff, two special care baby unit staff, four pediatricians, one lab technician and three to four hospital managers. This massive team is on call for the three months before the royal baby’s birth and cannot drink ANY alcohol.
  • The Suite.  It features art installations, private chefs and waiters. Oh, and there is Champagne so you can toast your new baby! A room starts at $7,325 a night, but the Duchess is likely staying in one of the more expensive suites.

  •  First visitors aren’t family,  it’s her hairstylist Amanda Cook-Tucker and her personal assistant/stylist Natasha Archer. Now, these unusual first visitors don’t arrive until a few hours after Baby Cambridge’s arrival so that the parents have time to enjoy their new bundle of joy. But very quickly Kate has to switch gears from excited new mom to princess.
  • The heels, the dress, the blowout.  She has to look stunning when she leaves the hospital, no sweat pants and ponytail for Kate.
  • She has to smile.  Just having given birth, a truly exhausting and painful experience and she has to smile.
