The rural picturesque farming community of Lucan, Ontario has the chance to WIN something big this weekend.

This hockey loving community of 4,500 people is located just outside London, Ontario and approx 2 hours west of Toronto could WIN $250,000 for arena upgrades and the opportunity to host an NHL® Pre-Season Game.

To win.. they are going to need YOUR VOTES.

Voting opens Friday at NOON and Lucan residents are hoping all of Ontario will get behind them and vote so they can be crowned the winners of Kraft Hockeyville for 2018.

The other towns hoping to win are High River, AB, Lafleche, SK and Huntingdon, QC.

This annual competition helps communities across Canada rebuild and restore their beloved hockey arenas.

Last year it was PEI that won with a pre-season game between the New Jersey Devils and the Ottawa Senators on September 25, 2017, was instead played at the Consolidated Credit Union Place in nearby Summerside.

Voting starts at NOON on March 30, 2018 and will close 8:30 p.m. ET, March 31, 2018 with the final announcement to be made later that evening on Hockey Night in Canada on Sportsnet and CBC.
