So last year Loblaws was involved in a bread fixing scandal and promised to give out $25 gift cards to people to make up for it.     Some of the gift cards have be sent out already but Loblaws has come back to some customers that applied that they need more information than just the date of birth and address they originally asked for such as a copy of their drivers licence or a copy of a utility bill.

Some customers say that’s going to far for personal info and some customers just don’t have either but still use the grocery store’s services including some on fixed incomes.

Loblaws says that this extra security measures it for extra security reasons and will destroy the personal info once confirmed.

You still have until May 1st to get the gift card.
