Around this time of year, WestJet finds a new way to spread Christmas cheer, and this year was no exception.

Residents of Forrt McMurray know how much WestJet stepped up during the May wildfire emergency that saw 88,000 residents (the entire town) evacuated. While being evacuated twice from “the beast” WestJet showed up to private Oil Sand airstrips to make sure stranded residents could be connected with their family.

This past weekend, WestJet treated 1,000 victims of the wildfires to a Snowflake Soiree complete with WestJet’s now infamous BLUE Santa, singer Johnny Reid, family Christmas ornaments and free trips to fly anywhere WestJet flies.

I can’t wait to see the FINAL finished video IF that is in fact what WestJet is planning!
