Gene Wilder, star of 'Willy Wonka,' is dead at 83

Comic genius and actor, Gene Wilder, star of ‘Willy Wonka’ and Mel Brooks comedies including Blazing Saddles is dead at 83.

It’s reported the actor died Sunday night in Stamford, Conn., of complications from Alzheimer’s disease.
