Freezing rain warning in effect for:

• London – Parkhill – Eastern Middlesex County
• Strathroy – Komoka – Western Middlesex County

Freezing rain is expected to continue this morning across the region. Several millimetres of ice accumulation are possible before the freezing rain changes to rain later this morning or near midday when temperatures slowly inch above zero.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas. Utility outages may occur.
