** Located at the Elgin County Railway Museum in St. Thomas
** BBQ contests, live music, railway experience, Midway, and MORE!

Friday August 21st – Sunday August 23rd Zurich’s 50th Annual Bean Festival
** Located at the Zurich fairgrounds
** Friday – car cruise, fireworks and flame show, street dance, Saturday – Breakfast street vendors in downtown core, car show, & more, Sunday – church service, BBQ, and sell off
** FREE to attend, extra for rides, and booths

8:00 am Saturday August 22nd & Sunday August 23rd High Street Horse Show
** Located at 195 King Street, Ilderton 
** Competitive horse show

FRIDAY:

6:00 pm spectator gates open, 7:30 pm race begins Delaware Speedway

** Located at 1640 Gideon Drive
** ISMA Super Modifieds, Super Stock Showdown Invitational
** Students $20, Seniors $35, Adult $40

10:00 am – 2:00 pm Carproof Day at Storybook Gardens

** Located at 1958 Storybook Lane, London
** Kids under 17 years of age get in for free with a donation to the London Food Bank

6:00 pm Melbourne Hog Stompin’ Outdoor Concert

** Located at 21886 Melbourne Road
** Karaoke, food and beverages available, live concert
** $15 at the gate

 

 

SATURDAY:

 

9:30 am – 12:30 pm Yogathon

** Event located at Victoria Park
** #RISEFORACAUSE and help spread more love and more positivity in the world!
**  $25 registration

11:00 am – 3:00 pm Hogs and Dogs BBQ

** Event is located at Rocky’s Harley Davidson
** BBQ supporting the Heat Flare Cheerleading squad

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm One Day for the Kids!

** Event is located at Southeast Optimist Park (237 Deveron Crescent)
** Free food for kids under 10, splash pad, princesses, balloon art, fire truck, soccer, Dora the Explorer, and MORE!
** FREE event

4:00 pm Rocking for Hope 2

** Event located at Norma Jeans, London
** This fundraiser is to help raise money for Participation House support services

9:00 am Fire it up Car, Truck, & Bike Show

** Event located at Saxonia Hall, Aylmer
** Show times are 9am-3pm. Exhibitor entries by donation, and public viewing is free.

8:00 am – 3:00 pm Farmers’ and Artisans Market

** Event located Western fair Farmers Market, Dundas St. East ** Two floors of fresh fruit/vegetables, baked goods, handmade art, jewelry, and so much more!

 

SUNDAY:

 

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm 9th Annual Corn Roasting

** Event located at Museum London in Wolf Sculpture Garden
** Part sculpture, part installation and part performance, the event will feature Benner’s roving corn-roasting wagon Maiz Barbacoa
** FREE event

8:00 am Freedom Ride to End MS

** Event located at 425 Bingermans Centre Drive, Kitchener
** Pancake Breakfast, Coffee, Bike Ride, Lunch & Prizes
** $50 minimum raised in pledges to particiapte

10:00 am JDRF Ride for Diabetes Research

** Event located at the Victoria Park Bandshell
** A corporate team-based stationary bike-a-thon in support of JDRF and research into a cure for Type 1 Diabetes

1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm Sunday Afternoon Tours

** Eldon House, 481 Ridout Street North
** 50-minute guided tour of Eldon House with a costumed historical interpreter who will provide the history of the house & the Harris family who lived there.
** Cost: donation

1 pm – 3pm Creative Sundays

**Drop in event located at Museum London ** Tours, crafts, and snacks! ** 1 pm – 3 pm the drawing instructor will be available to provide insight and technique
